2014 Alumni Service Award

For her varied and distinguished service to the College, Tracy Burlock ’81 has been named the recipient of the 2014 Alumni Service Award, the highest honor given by the Bowdoin Alumni Council.

Burlock, of Newton, Mass., has been tireless in her efforts to help raise funds to ensure that the Bowdoin experience remains a reality for generations to follow.

Her work and tenure as a vice-chair and member of the Board of Trustees has been called exemplary. Burlock has also been a leader among the Class of 1981 and has been very involved in the Bowdoin Club of Boston.


2014 Club Volunteer of the Year

David Rush '02 of the Bowdoin Club of New York has been named the 2014 Club Volunteer of the Year by the Bowdoin College Alumni Council in recognition of his enthusiasm, initiative and achievement in Club volunteerism. 

David’s commitment and thoughtful approach to alumni programming has helped create meaningful opportunities for NYC alumni to connect with each other and to the College.
