Bowdoin Regional Networks

Do you like planning social events? Lead or be part of a committee that organizes events for alumni and parents in your area. Activites are planned for each regional networks by committees of alumni volunteers working with the Office of Alumni Relations. Contact The Office of Alumni Relations.

Reunion

Class Reunions are held every five years and are planned and hosted by a committee of classmates. The Reunion Committee assists with shaping Reunion Weekend class programming and helps the class acheive its goals around Reunion Weekend attendance, class gift totals and donor participation rate. Career Planning

The Bowdoin Career Advisory Network (BCAN) is made up of Bowdoin Alumni who volunteer to be available for other Bowdoin Alumni and current Bowdoin students to share information regarding their career path, job-hunting strategies unique to their field, and other useful career related advice. Admissions

Bowdoin Regional Admissions Volunteer Organization (BRAVO)—a cohort of alumni volunteers from across the world—supports and expands the outreach of the Admissions Office in the recruitment of qualified students for Bowdoin. BRAVO members interview local students, participate in college fairs, attend regional events hosted by Admissions staff, and serve as an important link between high schools, prospective students, and the College. Alumni Council

The Alumni Council is a 32 member body representing the greater alumni body to the College through executive oversight for alumni programs, providing input, advice, and perspective on efforts, and serving as ambassadors for Bowdoin in members' communities.
